  6. What is a secret? Do they heal or harm?

  7. Frank Warren wanted to create an art project by asking people to write down a secret on a postcard. He invited 3,000 people to send him a postcard, detailing a secret that they had never told anyone. They were to illustrate the postcard, write their secret on it and send it to him. He handed out invitations on the street, left them in art galleries and slipped invitations in library books. People began telling their secrets. These secrets were childhood humiliations, something they were struggling with, something they had done to someone else, what they secretly believed, how they saw themselves, how they saw the world, who they wanted to be and so much more. People from all over the world responded, and PostSecret continues to be very popular today. Frank Warren has published many PostSecret books which contain secrets from people from all walks of life.
