  6. SOL Tests – Verified Credits What are Verified Credits? A verified credit is earned when the student successfully passes the classroom portion of the course and earns a passing score on the Virginia EOC (end of course) test for that subject area. SOL Courses English 10 – Writing & English 11 – RLR Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II World Geography, World History I, World History II, US/VA History Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry
  7. Verified Credits/SOLs Remember: Every course does not have an SOL attached to it so be certain that you are enrolled in classes which satisfy the verified credits you need.

  29. An Important Message from Administration about Electives At any time, administration reserves the right to drop an elective choice and add in a mandatory remediation period if we believe extra support will benefit your academic support at Hidden Valley High School.

Course Request Changes If you would like to make changes to your course request after your registration appointment, you must complete the COURSE REQUEST CHANGE FORM, have it signed by your parent, & returned to your MIDDLE SCHOOL COUNSELOR by MARCH 14, 2014. The form is in the counseling lobby as well as on the counseling webpage.
  31. 2014 – 2015 Schedule Changes Schedule changes for 2014 – 2015 school year will be considered as follows: Failure of a course that is a prerequisite for a scheduled course or a graduation requirement Human or computer error Grouping adjustments and/or balancing of class sizes Recommendations of the child study committee or IEP committee
