  4. Gimme Shelter is an inspiring song about the hard times and troubles of war and how easily it can start or end. All wars spread fast and there is nothing you can do about it.

  5. Godfather, The / Puzo, Mario The Godfather opens in 1945, at the wedding of Connie Corleone, the only daughter of Vito Corleone, the head of the most powerful organized crime family in the United States. During the wedding, Corleone, respectfully referred to as the Don or Godfather, is obliged to meet with people who seek his help. As the novel explains, "by tradition no Sicilian can refuse a request on his daughter's wedding day." One man's daughter was raped, and he asks Don Corleone to punish the rapists; another man needs political support so that his daughter's fiancé will not be deported; another, the Don's actual godson, is a famous singer whose career will fail if he does not get the movie role that a Hollywood producer has refused to him.

  6. Richard M. Nixon • His accomplishments while in office included revenue sharing, the end of the draft, new anticrime laws, and a broad environmental program. As he had promised, he appointed Justices of conservative philosophy to the Supreme Court. One of the most dramatic events of his first term occurred in 1969, when American astronauts made the first moon landing.

  7. Sesame Street • Children's television series • It was used to help educate the young audience that watched it. • I honestly I love the show. It has always helped me with my little problems and such. Willie McCovey • McCovey won the National League MVP award in 1969, a season in which he hit 45 homers, drove in 126 runs and posted a .656 slugging percentage. He won the National League batting title in 1967, 1968 and 1969 and lead the league in home runs in 1963 (44), 1968 (36) and 1969 (45) and RBIs in 1968 and 1969. McCovey appeared in six All-Star games, and was the All-Star Game MVP in 1969. • "The fans sitting up there are helpless. They can't pick up a bat and come down and do something. Their only involvement is in how well you do. If you strike out or mess up out there, they feel they've done something wrong." • McCovey now serves as a special assistant to the president and general manager, doing public and community relations work for the San Francisco Giants.

  10. About any thing. • The world is constantly changing, and it appears that the hippies have taken over. To them its all about sex and world peace. One great example is Woodstock. It was great though it had an all star line up of bands though. From Jimi Hendricks to Dave Matthews. It was the greatest concert ever over thirty two bands that rocked this New York farm. In the time that this magnificent occurrence was happening the united states was refreshed and the states was in equilibrium and peace. It was a step forward from getting back from Vietnam and helped soother greaving soles that lost loved ones in the useless war.
