  1. OVERCOMING CHALLENGES OF BATTERY DEGRADATION In today’s world, everything around us runs on batteries. The efficiency of a battery has become an integral part of how well a machine performs. Batteries are a critical component of many products, and energy storage plays a very active role in our lives, even outside of the research/industry setting. One of the most important challenges faced while using any battery-operated device is in monitoring the degradation of the batteries over time. When this is not monitored it negatively affects the performance of the device Battery test systems are electronic devices designed to test the remaining capacity of a battery's overall charge. In this technology-driven industry, innovative battery test systems are the need of the hour. A battery test system finds charge rates, discharge rates, states of charge (SOC), states of health (SOH), and depths of discharge (DoD) along with the voltage, current, temperature of the batteries. This data is used to analyze the working condition of the batteries and improve upon any necessary changes in the system. Electric-powered machines that operate on batteries are gaining importance in various industries. From Electric cars, electric aircraft to e-bikes, and automated guided vehicles all rely on battery packs. Therefore, selecting the right battery test system is a principal factor in predicting the lifetime of a device by understanding the degradation of the battery over time. Traditional methods rely on a long and time-consuming process of physical testing of the batteries to understand the degradation. Our Battery Cell Charge/Discharge Test System(Model 17011) and Battery Cell Formation System(Model 17000 series) provide High precision output and measurement up to 0.015% of a full scale.
