The water cycle. <Miss adams fourth grade science. The water cycle. Stage of the water cycle- stage 1. Evaporation: the sun warms the water in bodies of water. This warms the water and it is turned into vapor/steam. The vapor/steam leaves the body of water and goes into the air.

  3. Stage of the water cycle- stage 1 • Evaporation: • the sun warms the water in bodies of water. • This warms the water and it is turned into vapor/steam. • The vapor/steam leaves the body of water and goes into the air.

  4. Stage of the water cycle- stage 2 • Condensation: • The warm water vapor gets cold in the air. • Once it is cold, it forms clouds.

  5. Stage of the water cycle- stage 3 • Precipitation: • When the clouds become to full, precipitation occurs.

  6. Forms of precipitation • Rain • Snow • Sleet • Hail

  7. Stage of the water cycle- stage 4 • Collection: • When the precipitation falls, it is collected. • It is collected in bodies of water, as well as absorbed into the ground.
