  6. Evaluation 4 • For Undergraduate: Admissions Operations evaluates GPA & Transfer Credit (if applicable). Posts with Program Plan in Sentry. For Graduate: Admissions sends notice to department indicating file is complete & forwards a Graduate Admissions Cover Sheet. Department evaluates & completes Graduate Admissions Cover Sheet and Program Plan & returns to Admissions. Redenna Poole, Director of Admissions Operations

  7. Acceptance 5 • Admissions accepts/denies and sends letter to student and copies advisor or advisor designee. Includes Enrollment Intention Form. • Advisor is determined by department for transfers and e/w/online students; first-year students in day/WC matched to First Year Seminar advisor. Admissions has list from department chairs…varies by department. • Student File is electronically moved to Registrar Office ownership.

  8. 6 7 Access & Enrollment Intention Form IT Department sends out Next Steps information to the admitted students. Explains Email, Campus Web and Canvas. Info also at: http://www.brenau.edu/admissions-3/nextsteps/. However, students still cannot register until after they have submitted the Enrollment Intention Form to Admissions. Meeting for Registration 8 Faculty Advisor meets (in person or via telephone or online) with student and following an Advising Session logs into CampusWeb to student’s name Faculty member navigates to Biographical Information on student and clicks on “Generate PIN” option to allow student to register. AGS Basics A G S Particulars about AGS • Five week courses for undergraduates and six week courses for graduates • One night a week: 6pm-10pm (or online ) • Same night for entire cohort • Requires additional four hour group work each week-On ground or online AGS Advisors • At each location: Augusta, Fairburn, Gainesville (also includes Online) and Norcross • Responsible for recruitment, advising, registration, career counseling and retention • Brenau Admissions Operations Division evaluates transcripts

  13. AGS Degree Overview Coursework must have been completed within the last seven years to be accepted. Bachelor 120 credits Student must have a minimum of 46 credits to enroll in bachelor’s programs (Student does not have to possess an AA degree) Student must complete same liberal education requirements as all Brenau students. Liberal education courses may be taken via AA offerings, before or after major lock-step coursework Student may transfer in up to 6 credits of major coursework Associate of Arts 61 credits • Three Entry Points 1. Students with 23 credits or less 2. Students with 24-39 credits 3. Students with 40-46 credits • Students may transfer in all liberal education credits. But the last 15 must be at Brenau. Graduate • Credit hours vary • Student must have bachelor’s degree • Student may transfer in up to 6 credits of major coursework

Sentry • WHAT: Location for PDF documentation of student files: Admissions and Registrar • WHERE: https://documents.brenau.edu/sentryfile/ • ACCESS: Department Chair coordinates with Registrar’s Office to grant approval. • USERNAME: Your email without the “brenau.edu” • PASSWORD: Your computer password. • BEST PRACTICE TIP: Agree → Name → Password → Quick Search → Select All → Student → NameSearch
