Why does the Council need Program Objectives? • Numerous objectives • 9,000+ in total • Many non-measurable • Types of objectives • Population responses to habitat conditions Biological objectives • Environmental conditions necessary to achieve desired population characteristics Physical objectives • Ensure the Council’s Fish and Wildlife Program is operating optimally Performance objectives
