About PAA • Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance (PAA) คือกลุ่มผู้ให้บริการ EDI และ eCommerce ที่เป็นตัวแทนเขตเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาค เอเชีย รวมตัวกันก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อเดือนกรกฎาคม 2543 ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์ร่วมกันเพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการใช้บริการ EDI และ e-Commerceในการทำการค้าระหว่างประเทศ (Cross-border trading) โดยจะให้ความร่วมมือและสนับสนุนเกื้อกูลกันระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกทั้งในด้านเทคนิค กระบวนการทำการค้าระหว่างประเทศผ่านระบบ EDI และ ความรู้ความเข้าใจในกฎหมายทางการค้าของประเทศนั้นๆ รวมทั้งร่วมมือกันสร้างและให้บริการเกี่ยวกับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้าน IT สำหรับการค้าและการขนส่งระหว่างประเทศ สมาชิกแต่ละรายจะเป็นผู้ให้บริการ EDI ภายในประเทศของตนโดยมีสมาชิกที่เป็นตัวแทนจาก 9 เขตเศรษฐกิจ คือ • CrimsonLogic (Singapore), • TRADE-VAN Information Services Co.
