  4. Fashion Trend Laura reports

  5. Reyna presents Laura’s report • A Trend found in Women's Wear Daily is titled as 'The Longer Short Of It'. Instead of making short shorter and smaller designers are playing with hem lines this season by shortening pants and lengthening shorts. • "It gives a masculine edge and boyish attitude to the silhouette." Alexander Wang says. Designers Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, Acne, Just Cavalli, and Carven are a few who are showing this trend. • The members of group five didn't like the trend nor would wear it. The shorter pants have a business feel to them and would sell more to a 30-40's age group and would be sold in stores like Macy's and Nordstroms. Long Shorts Short Pants with Jackets

The shoes would not sell well in general, but might be carried in high-class boutiques and fashion museums. by designer Marc Jacobs Nina Ricci Nina Ricci New Product

  8. FASHION IN THE NEWS Maddy reports

  9. Fashion in the news Maddy reports L’Oreal Fructis Class Action lawsuit

  10. Reyna reports Celebrity in fashion Twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen really are fashion royalty. They were awarded the CFDA woman's wear award for designers of the year for there label The Row. Which is great for woman of all ages. They keep it classy with a little edge meets modern. Kind of something I could see Vera Wang rockin. Winning the CFDA award is like winning a Oscar in the fashion world. They have a great influence on young designers. Minimum 10 years as a custom tailor not an alteration’s tailor. • The New York ad for 2 Sample Makers require a working knowledge of flat lock, cover stitch, single needle machines and sewing skills in sports and athletic wear sewing woven and stretch fabric.
