  3. What do you want to do? Do your interests focus on conducting research or implementing a program, or both?

  4. What is your purpose? What would you want to achieve through a project (research or program implementation)? What would be the desired outcomes?

  5. What is the need? What data do you have that indicates a need for new or further research and/or program implementation in your area(s) of interest?
