  1. Tiny SignersProject implementation report Vilnius, March 2012 • This project has been funded with support from the European Commission. This publication [communication] reflects the views only of the author, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.

  2. Project implementation period August 2011 – March 2012

  3. National/ international activities • WP1: Dissemination of the project on national level (meeting with child care professionals at Pre primary education centre for the Deaf and hard of hearing), posts on internet.

  4. National/ international activities • WP2: 36 hours training program for child care professionals has been created according to partners recommendations. • WP2: The program was checked by an external expert and corrected.

  5. National/ international activities • WP3: A 500 signs DVD Dictionary has been filmed and edited, published in 20+20 extra copies. • WP3: 100 basic signs list was made and filmed and send to GB for illustrating. • WP3: Hand book “My first Signs” has been created (with 56 first signs) and published in 20 copies + 20 extra copies were published.

National/ international activities • WP4: an information about the training was published to the local kindergarten network and an invitation was sent to all pre-primary education centers in Vilnius. • A group of 19 participants collected (and still a lot of interested for the future). • Implementation of the training: February 29th, March 7th, March 14th.

  9. Study visit to Leeds • A study visit implemented on 19th – 21st of January, 2012 by Baby Sign trainer Asta Paskovske. • Study visit program designed in cooperation with GB partner “Tiny Signers”

National/ international activities • W5: Constant communication with partners has been kept on project quality assurance and information sharing. • A networkofpotentialparticipants of the Baby Sign trainig has been created. • A cooperation with Vilnius College has been launched and the result is an implementation of the curriculum for pre-primary teachers since 2012. • WP6: A dissemination of the project continued via project web page, also via web page of the organization www.lkd.lt . The leaflet have been disseminated among trainees. Information on project activities is also provided on the organization Facebook page: • WP7: Project management activities are constantly ongoing according to financial rules and application.
