DOCSIS Submissions • Most Recent Internet Drafts • draft-ietf-ipcdn-subscriber-mib-11.txt • draft-ietf-ipcdn-bpiplus-mib-10.txt • DOCSIS Subscriber Management MIB • Draft -11 released on May 29 2003 • See companion presentation authored by Wilson Sawyer for more details • DOCSIS BPI+ MIB • Draft -10 released in July 3 2003; addresses extensive comments received by Bert Wijnen during MIB doctor review and discussed during February interim meeting • See list of issues & status based on draft-10 update • Open issues • Explain why for some objects enum values start with 0 (docsBpi2CmtsAuthCmBpiVersion, docsBpi2CmtsTEKSAType) • Address comment on compliance statement (do we need 2, one for CM, one for CMTS? Level of compliance for each?) • Comments?Pending resolution of 2 above issues, is draft ready for WGLC? IPCDN Working Group

PacketCable/IPCablecom Submissions • PacketCable/IPCablecom MTA MIB • Draft –01 released on May 12 2003 • General MIB comments addressed in –01: • MIB boilerplate, security consideration section, InetAddressType description clauses, ORGANIZATION, DEFVAL, etc. • Reuse of DocsX509ASN1DEREncodedCertificate from BPI+ • MIB realignment with DHCP option 6 & CCC option [RFC3495] • Comments received from chairs includingcreation of integer32 index for pktcMtaDevRealmTable • Working Group last call issued on 6/25, will end on 7/18 • PacketCable/IPCablecom NCS Signaling MIB • Draft –01 released on May 12 2003 • See companion presentation authored by Gordon Beacham for more details • Working Group last call issued on 6/25, will end on 7/18 • PacketCable/IPCablecom Management Event MIB • Draft-02 published in May’03 but not actually posted on IETF ID repository, see ipcdn.org site for latest draft • Realigned event priority with RFC2669/syslog mib • Comments? IPCDN WG Next Steps • Publish Subscriber Management MIB draft for IETF last-call • Finalize DOCSIS MIB drafts for working group last-call • DOCSIS 2.0 RFI MIB, Cable Device MIB, DOCSIS QoS MIB, Event Notification MIB, and BPI+ MIB • Propose resolution for DOCSIS IGMP MIB • WG Last Call for 2 PacketCable/IPCablecom MIBs • WGLC Ends on 7/18 for MTA & Signaling MIBs • Request Reviewers for • PacketCable/IPCablecom Event Management • CableHome MIBs for technical correctness • Obtain IESG agreement on new charter IPCDN Working Group
