Marvellous Mash • Equipment: • 1 medium pan • 1 peeler • 2 small bowls • Measuring jug • 2 sharp knifes • 1 chopping board • Colander • Ingredients: • 2 large potatoes • 20ml of milk • 10grams of butter • Paprika • Salt • Pepper Preparation:peel potatoes, measure milk, chop butter Put a pan of water on a medium heat to boil Chop potatoes into eighths and rinse in a bowl of cool water When water is boiled put in potatoes and season the water with a little salt When potatoes are soft, drain them in the colander, over the sink Place pan back on the heat and put your potatoes back in Put in the milk, butter, some salt, a little pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika MASH!! Mash until there are no lumps Add in a little more paprika and serve!
Serving Suggestions • Meat eaters: • Serve with juicy sausages and thick gravy • Grilled fish • Roast beef • Vegetarians: • Quorn sausages • Sautéed portabello mushrooms in tomato and onion sauce • Or to make a change you could add crispy bacon bits and creamy cheddar cheese (grated) into your mash!
