  2. Monday, April 14 Rough draft #2 due Thursday April 17 1. I can research and gather information in an organized manner. 2. I can elaborate on the meaning and logic for inserting each quote used in my paper. Hand out I Say They Say Purple transition sheet. Talk about Aspire testing tomorrow and Thursday 10th grade Final paper due Thursday 24th/ sophomores Friday 25th

Tuesday, April 15 REMEMBER your PURPOSE  PERSUASION Learning Target: I can analyze substantive (influential) topics or texts to determine an argument that causes or has caused a debate in society. Learners will demonstrate: understanding scholarly vs Non scholarly, paraphrase, synopsis, using direct quotes as well as demonstrating the ability to relay the logic and theory presented in the films. Ties into State Standards: W. 9-10.1( relevant and sufficient evidence

  4. Wednesday, April 16 Continue working on papers full rough draft due TOMORROW, Thursday, hard copy.  Need to have full paper By last 10 minutes of class to do some highlighting and self correcting. (save yourself some points off) Open for conferencing with anyone who needs support…

  5. Thursday, April 17 Work on paper Print your copy by 8:30am Have highlighters and colored pens ready to make personal corrections to save points. We will do this activity together as a check list from rubric. I will use orange and black fine tip sharpies to grade. My plan is to return as many as possible by Monday. Everyone will get the same number of days to turn in papers.
