  2. Pierce History: Pierce Distribution Services was founded in 1954 by Ray Pierce in Rockford, IL. Our primary business at that time was as a “Class A” government contract packager. Over time, and with our client’s growing needs, Pierce has expanded not only our services, but has developed and earned a reputation as a leader and innovator in the 3PL Industry. Pierce currently has seven facilities in the United States. We are also planning to expand/develop several locations in the U.S. and abroad.
