  4. Moth What is the connection between a moth and treasures? NAU Matthew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. (Matt. 6:19 NAU) • What does “Moth and rust destroy” mean?

  7. “Rust destroys” • Original language - βρῶσις ἀφανίζει • Brosis can be translated as: food, eating, rust • Mike’s Translation: “where moths eat as food, thus destroys it” • Cultural consideration gives the context and tells us which translation to use Rust continued
