  2. Overview • Configuration Efforts • Product Availability Monitoring System (PAMS) Reports • Rsync Prototype

  3. Configuration Efforts • OST working closely with ER, CR, and WR to improve WFO configurations. • Lots of phone calls & e-mail messages. • Good progress.

  4. PAMS Spreadsheets • Data for 6/8/2005 continued to show extensive slowdowns. • STO, SLC, and connected WFOs worst. • Worst periods coincide with product preparation times. • Data for 6/9/2005 unavailable. • Bummer! • Expected to see improvements in several areas.

  5. Rsync Prototype • 26 WFOs now using rsync. • AR • EAX and TSA hubs. • Two prototype servers (Dell 1650) running. • Spent a week repairing one. • Plans • Test/Load Balance with these 26 WFOs. (1-2 weeks) • Expand to include STO and SLC hubs. • AWIPS Test Authorization Notices (ATAN 746 & 747) pending approval.
