Seat Allotment procedure • Only the Candidates with the locked choices are considered for seat allotment • For allotment of a Seat, Rank is not only the criteria but also the eligibility criteria (like % of marks, Age, etc. of candidates/institutes are checked. Admissions are further confirmed on the basis of satisfactory verification of credentials. • Qualifying criteria of candidates i.e. qualifying exam Passed and %age secured would need to be checked before allotment of seats.

Seat Allotment procedure..Contd • Gender of candidates need to be checked so that male candidates are not allotted seats in the institutes meant for females only. • First the open seats i.e from All India Category and Haryana Open General Category shall be allotted on the basis of eligibility criteria (of candidates and institutes ) & Rank. • Subsequent to non-availability of seats in General category, the allotment of seats will be considered for reserved categories

Seat Allotment procedure • In case a candidate does not get Ist choice out of the choices locked by him/her in open category then his reserved categories would be searched in a order, he belongs to a reserved category (say SC-A, Male/Female, ESM/FF ), PH etc [Ist SC-A ->Male/female ->ESM/FF and then PH] shall be searched. The same order shall be used in BC Category. Reservation benefit of BC will not be given the candidates of creamy layer. Further, in ESM category the order of priority of seat allotment shall be in order of categories 1) Dependents of ESM who Died in Action while serving 2) Ex-Service man himself 3) Dependents of ESM. If he/she gets a seat that will be allotted to him/her otherwise

Seat Allotment procedure..Contd • One seat out of Haryana resident category in Electronics & communication Engg at Seth jai Parkash Polytechnic, Damla will be allotted to the meritorious resident candidate of Damla village. Proof of being resident of Damla signed by Sarpanch gram panchayat Damla is eligibility. • One seat out of BC category in Mechanical Engg will be allotted to the meritorious resident candidate of Mewat Area for admission in Govt. Polytechnic Uttawar.

Seat Allotment procedure..Contd • Allotment of reserved seats for J&K migrants is out of scope of this seat allotment procedure and counselling software. • in this way strictly according to the seat matrices, seats would be allotted to the candidates • The leftover, unfilled, cancelled i.e. all vacant seats will be considered for 2nd counseling • Th seat allotment shall be viewed institution wise, discipline wise, category wise by the institutions. • The seat allotment shall be viewed by the individuals on the website by using their Roll No. as user-ID and passwords.

Conversion of reserved Seats • Before 2nd counselling the inter conversion of vacant seats shall be done with in the category, e.g. SC-A ---> SC-B ---> SC-A and same for BC. in case of ESM-->FF--->ESM, Boys-->Girls--->Boys. It may also be called merging of seats with in category. • Vacant seats of PH (girls)  PH -> PH (Boys) -> PH (girls) will be merged • After 2nd counselling, in case reserved seats are available, 3rd counselling shall be conducted. • After 3rd counselling the reserved seats shall be released for open category.
