  4. FIRST STEPS -Discovery( Believe: trust God with salvation, begin to trust God with your life ) Steps: • Accept Jesus as savior • Get baptized • First steps bible studies • The journey begins luncheon • Your power time begins

THE FIRST STEPS -Discovery ( Belong: Understand your place and live out your purpose -With God, in your family and in the church) Steps: • Meet regularly with church family ( church meetings, activities) • Discover your role in your family- ( Marriage/ Parenting conference) • Discover your role in God’s family- ( SHAPE) • Participate in a home group/ life group • Women’s time to share • Join a ministry • Belong

THE FIRST STEPS -Discovery( Become: emotionally and spiritually mature and lead others in the Journey ) Steps: • The Basics 1-5 • Journey Spiritual Map- (begin to ask God to map out your life seeking him with the Believe, belong, become map) • Participate in the men’s and women’s spiritual getaway- developing intimacy with God and others • Become

THE NEXT STEPS-Growing- (Believe: Learning to depend on God and following his leading) Steps: • Continue to pray , seek, listen and follow God’s leading –your ( Believe, Belong, Become) journey map for your self, family , church and others • Develop consistency in power time • Developing a generous heart- give financially to God’s work

Next Steps- Growing-(Belong:Growing in relationship with God, family and God’s family) Steps: • Grow in your role within your family- ( husband, wife, child, etc) • Grow in your role in the church- ministry training and development • Participate in a life group ( develop spiritual intimacy and accountability with a small nucleus of believers) • Participate in a home group and develop greater community • Belong

Next Steps- Growing-(Become: Growing emotionally and spiritually mature while Starting to lead others in the Journey ) Steps: • Participate in Life seekers group • Join a life group • Basic studies 5-10 ( with your life group), • Multiply yourself- become a disciple maker • Participate in LT / LINC/ faithwalkers / GCSE conferences • Become

THE NEXT STEP- leading( Believe: Deeper levels of trust and dependency on God- greater faith; Helping others do the same) • Steps: • Believe-God can use you mightily in: • Guiding others in their Journey with God: • ( salvation, baptism, first steps, Journey map, basics, life group, life seekers group, etc)-discipleship • Regularly extended times with God • Looking for opportunities to take greater steps of faith- greater works

THE NEXT STEP- leading( Belong: Helping others Develop deep bonds with God, Family, church and others and fulfill their roles. • Steps: (lead in some or all of the following) • Lead a life group • Lead in areas of ministry to the body ( young, elderly, parents, etc) • lead people into church community and real relationships
