  2. Schedule Status • Current schedule (14-2-01) is based on commitments by all consortium members of PACS. • There is no “negativ margin” • The schedule is very tight: approx 80% of all activities are on the critical path

PACS instrument key dates • 1/01 Start of AVM integration and test • 9/02 Start of CQM Instrument tests • 7/03 CQM delivery to ESA (delay 3 months) • 12/03 Start of PFM Instrument tests • 8/04 PFM delivery to ESA (delay 2 months) • 4/05 Start of FS Instrument tests • 10/05 FS delivery to ESA (delay 4 months)

  4. Candidates for further delay • Design schedule for all Warm Electronics AVM models is very tight: AVM test may not start on time • risk: delay of some weeks, no inputs for FM from tests • still critical development under way: CRE, Bolometer, Grating, Calibration sources • risk: delay of some weeks up to months • long cryo(!) calibration and test periodes without margin • risk: delay in the order of several months
