Monday EC Meeting- Dallas • 1 Tutorial this session- given by Roger Marks • Bruce Kraemer elected as SA President 2015-2016 • OmniRAN proposing a PAR to be undertaken by 802.1 • EC meetings for the week posted on the board • Reviewed proposed changes to OM, big one being the 5C. James will review later • John D’Ambrosia gave a report on external communication- specifically what is the message of 802 and how might we promote it.   3. Monday EC Meeting- Dallas • Monday night is Ethernet 40th Anniversary Celebration. Rare collection of key early contributors will be presenting. • Saturday is an all day EC workshop to work several 802 issues in depth. Agenda at https://mentor.ieee.org/802-ec/dcn/13/ec-13-0064-00-00EC-agenda-for-nov-2013-ec-workshop.xls • ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 -activity focused in a new direction-namely the submission of 802 standards into ISO/IEC using the PSTO process. There will be 3 meetings this week to discuss/review activities to prepare for the SC6 meeting in Ottowa • Reviewed future venue contract status and potential locations. Meeting on Tuesday AM1 • Treasurers report: Reserve has been declining over the last 3 years-current is $909k. Geneva ran a surplus of $119k. DFW over 800 attendees but projected to loose $60k after non US venue set aside. Robert F. Heile, ZigBee Alliance

  4. Monday EC Meeting- Dallas • 4 registered for University Outreach- better than Geneva but still way short of what we would like. Need ideas on how to improve that • Discussed 802 desire to make Get802 agreement public. SA does not want to do that and is suggesting other options. Will be discussed further on Thursday • Get802- 250,000 ytd downloads- 15.4 5th most requested • Reviewed SA reorg- some rather major changes. More detail at Task Force meeting on Thursday (10am-noon). A doc will posted to mentor later this week Robert F. Heile, ZigBee Alliance
