Ordinance approved – March 24, 2009 Invitation for Bid (IFB) award – January 19, 2010 – American Traffic Solutions (ATS) Bid not awarded – Bid acceptance extended to August 2010 State law approved “Mark Wandall Traffic Safety Act” – effective July 1, 2010 Red Light Camera Update Recent BCC and State Actions

Red Light Camera Update Plan to Move Forward • Negotiate and execute a contract based on the existing bid with American Traffic Solutions (ATS) for installation of cameras at 10 locations. • Concurrently have staff work on modifications to the existing IFB package to incorporate requirements of new state law. Issue new IFB after FDOT publishes required documents.
