  8. Things To RememberIf a girl/adult needs to be transferred from one troop/service unit to another troop/service unit, this will need to done at the Council level. Please fill out a membership update form.You can’t register for membership and program using the same transaction. (Must be separate orders).Once you add an order to your shopping cart, it will stay in the shopping cart until you either pay or delete it.

  9. Unable to utilize the online registration system for:Any graduating Girl Scout Ambassadors or an adult interested in Lifetime Membership. In order to receive the discount, the paperwork must be received by Friday, September 9, 2011, at the Edinboro office. This must be on a separate Membership Dues Summary Form indicating the Lifetime Membership and must be paid with a check or money order made payable to GSWPA in the amount of $156 for Girl Scout Ambassadors and $300 for Adult Lifetime Membership.All members applying for Financial Assistance will need complete the financial assistance form and give the form to your troop leader or membership staff person.All members using Cookie Dough, MagNut or Girl Scout program award certificates for payment will need to send the necessary paperwork to your troop leader or membership staff person.

  12. What is a Trip? • Anyactivity/event located outside your regular troop meeting location Example: horseback riding, visiting a museum, camping, going to the mall, trip to zoo, etc.

  13. Potential GSWPA requirements 1. Trip/camping & High-Risk Activity Application – required when: • Any overnight – including camping at GSWPA campsite • Travel over 200 miles roundtrip • High-risk activity involved 2. Additional Activity Insurance – required when: • When activity lasts longer than 2 consecutive overnights – for all members and nonmembers • For non-members participating in any event, any length of time 3. Certificates of Liability – required when: • When a trip involves a high-risk activity – GSWPA needs a copy of the facility’s Certificate of Liability insurance
