Honors Program • For all students who are interested in a challenging high school experience. • Students take honors level classes as they desire, to meet their goals and interests. • Great preparation for college! • Students receive weighted grades for use in the calculation of GPA. • All students encouraged to take an Honors, AP or IB class before they graduate.

IB Advantage: Earn Scholarship • IB Diploma students with a score of 30+ will receive 30 quarter units (20 semester units) toward UC undergraduate degree. • IB Courses students will be awarded 8 quarter units (5.3) semester units) for each IB HL exam passed with a score of 5 or more. • CSU and other institutions have similar advanced placement credit policies. • IB exams classes may also fulfill prerequisites for many university-level courses.
