  2. The stream of civil engineering has played an important role in the growth of this world in various manners. Whether we talk about the airports, bridges, or high-tech buildings, without civil engineering, the construction of such things could have been impossible. Since the time of the field's establishment, it has always grown exponentially. Looking at its growth, the field's market value in 2019 was evaluated at $ 8.73 trillion, and it's expected to grow by 5.4% between the period 2020 to 2027.

  3. With the growth of the civil engineering field, it has also helped to increase career opportunities in many other sectors. Therefore, we have enumerated the list of opportunities in various sectors along with the expected pay scale to highlight the scope as a civil engineer. Let's look at those fields -

Construction • The Construction sector mostly demands civil engineers for the structure's designing, planning, building, etc. Civil Engineers play their role in investigating the quality of soil, types of materials used, designing the building's reliable structure, etc. A civil engineer annually gets paid nearly or above 3 LPA.
