  1. Masters in Electronics Engineering - MITAOE

  2. What is Electronics Engineering? • Electronics Engineering is a sub-discipline of Engineering, which allows students to specialize in designing electronic devices and systems. It covers analog electronics, digital electronics, embedded systems, power electronics, and consumer electronics. Students with a passion for Electronics Engineering can further opt for a Masters in Electronics Engineering after completing their Bachelor of Engineering (or Technology) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE).

  3. The Electronics Engineering discipline is a subfield of Electrical Engineering, and it consists of the study of designing and testing integrated circuits, devices, and systems using active electrical components such as semiconductor devices (like transistors and diodes), as well as designing and testing passive electrical components on printed circuit boards.

  4. Some of the subsidiary disciplines that come under the broad umbrella of Electronics Engineering include telecommunications engineering, instrumentation engineering, control engineering, electromagnetics, signal processing, computer engineering, and VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) design engineering.

  5. Job prospects for Masters in Electronics Engineering • Electronics engineers with a Masters in Electronics Engineering can find employment opportunities in a variety of departments in companies worldwide, depending on their specific niche. They can occupy positions such as Electronics Engineer, Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Product Manager, Hardware Design Engineer, Computer Architect, etc. They can also go into teaching and research in a university or college.

  6. This field offers growth, career development, and excellent salary packages, especially for those who have an advanced degree. It also boasts some of the highest pay packages internationally. In recent years, there has been significant growth in the job prospects of electronics engineers, with a projected growth of up to seven percent.

  7. Do I need a Masters in Electronics Engineering? • The undergraduate Electronics Engineering degree helps students develop a solid foundation and acquire all the necessary skills needed for a professional electronics engineer. After getting their bachelor's Degree, some engineering graduates may also want to pursue a Masters in Electronics Engineering to further deepen their knowledge and experience in a niche area in electronics engineering.

  8. A Master's Degree in Engineering is not everyone's cup of tea. So it is essential for Engineering graduates to carefully consider their areas of interest, career goals, and job prospects before deciding to join a master's program.

  9. A postgraduate degree in Engineering is suitable for engineering graduates who have a deep interest and aptitude for research in a subfield of their choice. MITAOE is one of the top Engineering colleges in Pune and is part of the reputed MIT Pune Group.

  10. MITAOE offers a PG program in electronics engineering, that is, M.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering. The course duration of the MITAOE M.Tech in Electronics Engineering program is for two years, and each academic year is divided into three trimesters.

  11. The Degree concentrates on disciplines like Advance Embedded Architecture and Processor, Analog CMOS Design, Real-Time Operating System and Design, Embedded Network Design, Optimal Control, Image Processing, Reconfigurable computing, and ASIC Design. The curriculum is also very hands-on as it requires students to complete project work at the end of every trimester up until the fourth semester, and the fifth and sixth semester is dedicated entirely to project work, making them confident and industry-ready.

  12. With strong analytical skills and experience in identifying and solving complex problems, the graduates of the MITAOE postgraduate program make for well-equipped and competent competitors in the job market that can attract top salary packages in the industry's best companies.

  13. Conclusion • Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is the first private Engineering Institute to be established in the city of Pune, Maharashtra. It is one of the premier institutes for Indian and international students offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Engineering, Management, Medicine, Pharmacy, Design, and so on. • MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE), Alandi, Pune, was established in 1999 under MAEER by the honorable Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder and Executive President of MIT Group..
