  2. Professional Learning Outcome: Educators have increased knowledge regarding decisions and collaborative efforts in revising and re-aligning district elementary progress report based on new Missouri Learning Expectations.

  3. Progress Report Timeline Timeline for revising report card (progress report) is a gradual and systematic process that will occur over multiple years.

  4. Progress Report Timeline 2016-2017 Vertical alignment of priority standards with Spring Priority Standard Showcase-feedback overwhelmingly suggested revising and re-aligning the elementary progress report (grade card) 2017-2018 • ELA and Math Domain/Strands were changed to match new state expectations by listing Domains and Cluster Headings for grouping expectations. Cluster headings helped articulate what skills and knowledge contributed to the domain score. • Teachers report synthesized ratings of 1,2,3 at the Domain level • Subtle format changes • Data/feedback will be collected and monitored throughout the school year to create additional changes and improvements

Progress Report Timeline 2018-2019 • Progress Report Format changed • Content on the progress report will change each quarter based on what is taught or has been assessed • Markings will include M/P/N instead of 3/2/1 • N/A will indicate the content was not assessed at the time of reporting • Science & Social Studies “objectives” are changed to domains/strands with cluster headings to match new state expectations • Data/feedback will continue to be collected and monitored throughout the school year to create additional changes and improvements

  6. Progress Report Timeline 2019-2020 • Quarterly learning targets (benchmarks) will be established aligned to each end of the year expectation • Eventually Proficiency scales will be created based off these learning targets

  12. Progress Report: • one of many communications we have with parents regarding academic progress • compliment daily/weekly communications, assignment feedback, newsletters, curriculum nights, etc.

  13. Ultimate Vision is Alignment: Aligning priority expectation to common assessments, effective instruction, mastery of skill and progress reporting.
