Critical Thinking: MITVGS focus area

Scholastic Education serves as the main foundation of the successful future of a child, as they develop their basic skillset i.e. problem-solving attitude, honesty, dedication towards the work, etc. in the school itself. This skillset solidifies as a persona that reflects the character of a person which becomes difficult to change as they grow. 1. Critical Thinking: MITVGS focus area Scholastic Education serves as the main foundation of the successful future of a child, as they develop their basic skillset i.e. problem-solving attitude, honesty, dedication towards the work, etc. in the school itself. This skillset solidifies as a persona that reflects the character of a person which becomes difficult to change as they grow. One such vital aspect of the primary skillset that needs to be inculcated into the students is critical thinking. Critical Thinking enables the person to analyze the situation or problems in as many ways as possible, and search out for possible solutions by using reasoning and logic. With the help of critical thinking, the child can process all the facts and information that he/she gathers. The difficulty of the problems varies as per the age of the student and is mandatory to exercise regularly for a successful career. Regular activities and exercises help in honing this skill and school education plays the most crucial role in it. MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools promote such activities in their schools for all the students. They regularly organize social activities, drama, plays and other mediums to engage the students into these types of problems which may be social, cultural, or from the school curriculum. Various programs and training are scheduled for the students as well as the teachers to foster the overall development. The environment of the classroom is given prime importance so that learning gets more interesting. The whole process becomes intriguing as the students get extra time to develop a new approach towards the problem. Rather than mugging up the school curriculum, they develop a sense of innovation. Children at MITVGS also get the knack of all the superstitions and ill-practices via drama and plays and thus stop others from practicing them. They analyze how these ill-practices are harming society and by this analysis, care for society, human values, and ethics get engraved into them. They also carry the values of Indian culture that go missing from the majority of the school-going children. MIT or Maharashtra Institute of Technology was established by Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad in 1983 for improving the standards of education retaining the Indian values. MIT VGS stands amongst the top schools in Pune and top-rated CBSE schools in India. They offer both day boarding and residential facility and thus are amongst top CBSE residential schools Indian and best CBSE boarding schools too.
