  3. Becomes friends with other artists: monet, sisley, bazille • They develop a new style of painting called Impressionism • uses bright colors placed next to each other, quick brush strokes • Work outdoors, observe how light effects objects as it moves across sky

  5. Luncheon of the Boating Party (1881) In 1890, he married one of his models, Aline Charigot (she’s in the painting above). They had 3 sons.
