  4. What’s new this year? • Interwrite PRS clickers!! • Allow all students to participate • Homework check, discussion aid

  6. Absences • Please clear all student absences. • I give 50 points at the beginning of each quarter • Uncleared absences and excessive tardies take away from these points.

  7. Grades • 45% homework • 45% exams • 10% terms quizzes • I will send home progress reports at each grading period. • You can always ask for a grade update. I can email grades through my grade program. • Stay updated on grades and attendance through Parent Connect (link can be found on our class website)

  8. Test Makeups • Test makeups are administered at lunch. • Students must have a cleared absence to take the test • Makeup tests are different from the original test (no multiple choice)

  9. Year-long ProjectSolution to a RSJ Issue • Teacher selected groups will: • Select an issue and define a problem • Research the history of the problem and the previous attempts to solve • Offer solutions to the problem • Predict outcomes
