  1. Bassett Middle SchoolStudentDress Code2014 - 2015 Appropriate dress reflects Hound Pride!

  2. SHIRTSNEW! TUCKING IN IS NOT OPTIONAL! • Shirts – Solid maroon and gold polo or crew neck with or without the Bassett logo. Appropriate size only.

  3. UNDERSHIRTS • Undershirts – Solid colorsonly.

  4. PANTS • Pants – Ankle length, appropriate size for the wearer. (No more than 1 size waist variance). • Plain cotton twill • Colors – Khaki, navy blue, black. • NO DENIM AND NO CARGO PANTS

  5. BELTS BELTS Belts – Must be plain and solid brown or black. No decorations are allowed on the belts, such as spikes, studs, rivets, logos, monogramming, or large buckles. Buckle must be plain. Must be worn through belt loops.

  6. OUTERWEAR OUTERWEAR Outerwear – Must be open front. Must be opened at all times.

  7. PULLOVERS & JACKETS • No Pullovers • Hoodies – Full zippered hoodies are allowed and must be worn open in the building and without the hood.

  8. SWEATSHIRTS • Sweatshirts (fleece tops) – Solid maroon and gold crew neck with or without the Bassett logo.

  9. SHOES • Shoes– Only tennis/athleticshoes or other closedleathershoeswith hard soles will be allowed.

  10. HEAD COVERINGS Head coverings – No bandanas are allowed at all. No hats, caps, or hoods will be worn inside the building. X X X

  11. JEWELRY • Jewelry – Only stud earrings are allowed. • Only ONE pair of studs may be worn. • No other piercings or spacers are allowed at all. • Rosaries may be worn, but must be tuckedinside the shirt. • NO FACIAL OR BODY PIERCINGS ARE ALLOWED. X X

  12. HAIR • Hair – Must be ONEnaturalcolor and cannot be distracting to the learningenvironment. X X

  13. SPIRIT DAYS • Spirit Days – Clubor collegeshirtsalongwithuniform pants can be worn on Fridays. • If studentschoose not to participate in collegeday, they must be in full uniform. • Cheerleaders and team memberswill wear theiruniforms on gameday.
