  2. There are a few different ways of acquiring gemstones in New World. However, we’ll focus onthe most effective ways of getting them. Gems drop from every ore you encounter: Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Starmetal,and Orichalcum. Motes are collected from certain plants upon reaching level 50 Harvesting or from oreveins that require 50 Mining.
