What is SolidWorks certification about • SolidWorks certifications can be used as a benchmark to measure your knowledge and competency with SolidWorks software. • CSWAA CSWA certification is proof of your SolidWorks® expertise – cutting-edge skills that businesses seek out and reward. • CSWPA CSWP has proven their ability to design and analyze parametric parts and moveable assemblies using a variety of complex features in SolidWorks. • CSWEA CSWE is able to solve practically any modeling problem given to them, and is traditionally the go-to SolidWorks user among their colleagues.

What is the requirements? • You need internet connection doing the whole test. • You can take the test on any level of SolidWorks 2008 or later. • There is a 30-day waiting period before retaking the CSWA, and there is a 14-day waiting period before retaking any CSWP segment exam. • I do not use SolidWorks or SolidWorks Simulation. Can I still take the exam with an evaluation copy? Yes. But you will have to get the evaluation version from one of the SolidWorks resellers in your area.

How is these things are constructed? • CSWA = 3 hours Exam with a 70% minimum passing rate Exam features hands-on challenges in many of these areas: Sketch entities - lines, rectangles, circles, arcs, ellipses, centerlines, Sketch tools - offset, convert, trim, Sketch relations, Boss and cut features - extrudes, revolves, sweeps, lofts, Fillets and chamfers, Linear, circular and fill patterns, Dimensions, Feature conditions – start and end, Mass properties, Materials, Inserting components, Standard mates - coincident, parallel, perpendicular, tangent, concentric, distance, angle Reference geometry – planes, axis, mate references, Drawing sheets and views, Annotations
