2. FOLKTALE Panchatantra: The Story of the Blue Jackal elephant as his doorkeeper. But, his work was not done. For fear of being recognized, he drove all the jackals out of the forest. The new king then ordered his subjects to hunt for him and do his bidding. The animals used to bring all kinds of fruit and meat for him and the blue king lived a life of luxury. One day, as the blue king was enjoying himself, a pack of jackals passed by and began howling. Unable to control his natural instinct, the blue king rose up and howled to glory. Hearing his cry, the jungle animals realized that they had been fooled. At once, they chased the traitor out of the forest and the cunning jackal never returned again. Also known as the Electric Kidney Bean, the Cloud Gate has been praised as one of the most unique and interesting sculptures in decades, and it was created by sculptor Anish Kapoor. When it was frst unveiled, some called it unimaginative, and that’s how it got the name “The Electric Kidney Bean”. But soon, throngs of people were drawn to it, and “The Bean” became a new symbol of Chicago. It cost $23,000,000 to make this beautiful, shiny, 33 foot high monument. The sculptor named it Cloud Gate, because 80% of its shiny surface refects the sky. And because of the way it bulges and looms over the viewer, it ofers a magically distorted view of the surroundings to them, and some even call it a magical rift in the fabric of space and time. Sometimes, the buzzing sound is also generated by a bee’s breathing - bees breathe in air through the tiny openings on their bodies which can produce a buzzing sound. The larger the insect, the slower is the speed with which it beats its wings and the lower is the pitch of the resultant buzz. Buzzing Factors The buzzing sound depends on the size of the insects’ wings and the speed with which they fap their wings. Insects having small wings can push very little air, so they have to beat them faster while fying. The insects having larger wings do not have to take the trouble of beating their wings rapidly; they can easily push a lot of air to move ahead while fying and have almost soundless fights. It is not just the bees that buzz; some other insects like wasps, fies, mosquitoes and beetles make buzzing sounds by fapping their wings rapidly.
