  1. Angles

  2. What is an angle Am angle is two rays that connect at the vertex and is measured in degrees . Different angles are acute, obtuse, and right angle. Obtuse Angle Acute angle Right Angle

  3. Acute Angles Acute angles are smaller than 90 degrees but lager than 0 degrees.

  4. Obtuse Angles Obtuse angles are angles that are bigger than 90 degrees but smaller than 180 degrees.

  5. Straight Angles Straight angles are 180 degrees/0 degrees.

  6. Right Angles Right angles are exactly 90 degrees.

  7. Estimating Angles To estimate angles you make an imaginary protractor with small dots. There are also pin points to help you find the closest number to the exact number. 90 degrees, 45 degrees and 180 degrees. You would estimate this acute angle by making approximate dots at each ten degrees then use pin points at the 90, 45 and 180 . Then find the area that its in.

  8. What is a protractor A protractor is a device that you use to measure the degrees of a angle there are two kinds of scales one is the acute that only goes up to 90 and ends at 0 degrees. the other kind is obtuse that starts at 90 and ends at 180degrees. Other acute angle scale 1 of 2 Obtuse angle scale Other obtuse angle scale 1of 2 acute angle scales

  9. Drawing angles You first draw a line that you draw with a ruler. Then you take your protractor and put the center of it on one of the ends of the line. Next you put a small mark on the outside of the protractor on the angle you want. Finally you connect the lines and put a dot on the vertex.

  10. My Learning I thought I did well on measuring angles because I really new how to use the protractor very well. I need to work on estimating angles because I am more than 5 degrees off . What did I do well?
