  6. What is Ms Ho doing?

  7. Ms Ho says she remembers when there were lots of fish in the river and she collected clean water for irrigation. Now she says it’s black, acrid-smelling water.

  8. Why do you think she still uses it?

  9. Mr Lee has been fishing the Pearl River for many years. • He says that many years ago people could drink the river water • but now it’s so polluted even the fish taste of soap.
