  1. 4 Simple Tricks to Improve your Dancing Skills Dance has been always been a widely accepted form of art. Dance is among the few expressive arts around the world. Dance is the only performing art that has several different styles, forms, techniques and types. With every little geographic change, you will find a new form of dance. In India, there are two broad categories Indian Classical dance and Indian Folk dance. The classical dance refers to the major eight dances namely Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathak, Kathakali, Manipuri, Odissi and Sattriya. In India there are a large number of folk dances associated with every region and these dances are performed on every special occasion whether it is to celebrate a child’s birth or a wedding or any other occasion. The classical and folk dances have their charm but with the introduction of western dance forms the craze to learn new dance forms has increased rapidly in Indian. People have been devoting their time and sweat to learn these various forms of dance (Indian classical, folk and western). Some of us dance for fun and some do it for their passion. Some of you might want to become a professional dancer and might have just started dancing. But if you want a career in dancing the first thing you should know is that you will have to go through regular training and have to dedicate a lot of time to it. At some point you might feel that you should take some professional help to learn better then you can always get some help from a professional dancer. StarClinch provides a large number of artists from which you can hire professionals or book dancers to learn from. To get started by, these simple tricks will help you to improve your dancing skills. •Let the mirror teach you: when you have just started dancing always practice in front of a mirror. Let the mirror be your friend and your first teacher. So the perk of dancing in front of a mirror is that you will get to notice yourself while dancing. You will get to know about what mistakes you are making, where is the flaw in your dance routine. And when you know about your mistakes you can start to work on them. •Simplicity: Because you have just started dancing and are new to it try to keep your dance routine as simple as possible. Do not run behind tough and heavy dance routines. The simple dance routines will help you to learn the basics of dance easily.

  2. •Warm-up and stretching: this is one of the most important things to keep in mind when you start dancing. Before starting your daily training or practice you should always go for a warm-up session and stretch your body. This will help you to get ready for the training and it reduces the chance of body cramps and muscle injury. This also helps in increasing the flexibility of your body. •Comfort is necessary: we all know that dancers wear very vibrant and stylish costumes while they perform on stage. But it is not what they prefer wearing in their training period. While you are practising you should prefer wearing clothes that help your body breathe and are comfortable so that your body can move freely. When you are comfortable in what you are wearing you will automatically focus more on training rather than in fixing your clothes.
