  2. The Doctrine of Salvation by Faith Alone • Several religious groups believe and teach that one is saved by faith alone without any other conditions. • Some would consistently believe “faith only” • Others say “faith only” but still believe repentance is essential.

  5. The Doctrine of Salvation by Faith Alone Those Who Believe This Contend: Passages that say one is saved by faith means faith alone (i.e. Rom. 5:1) If one is not saved by faith alone – then salvation is by works (i.e. Eph. 2:8-9)
