This might help fix the problem. • On the workstation encountering the error, open QuickBooks. • Go to the File menu > Switch to Single User. • Fix 2 - Reviewing the Mapped File Location • Verify the correctness of the mapped file location. • Open the Product Information window by pressing Ctrl + 1. • Find the mapped location path and make a note of it. • Select Help and then click on Update QuickBooks. • Verify that the info in the Download Location of the Options tab is correct - • The drive in Download Location and Product Information window should be the same if Shared Download is set to Yes. • The directory in Download Location and QuickBooks Desktop Installation Directory should be the same if Shared Download is set to No. • If the location is incorrect, switch the status to Yes if previously No was selected and No if previously Yes was selected. Save and Close.
