Day 1 Objectives • Meet JHU Faculty and Staff, ISTE Leadership, and fellow cohort members. • Gain a deeper understanding of the ISTE organization and role in the graduate program as a partner. • Discuss key program requirements, expectations, and standards. • Form and build teams for the Effective Leadership course. • Explore topics of leadership.

  3. Standards as the Foundation • Educational Leadership Constituency Council (ELCC) • Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) • ISTE’s National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for Administrators • Maryland Instructional Leadership Framework (MILF)

  4. ISTE Partnership • Required participation at NECC • Kickoff, 2007 • Culminating Meeting, 2008 • Gallery Walk, 2008 • Required activities in the Internship course: • Participate in ISTE internship • Work with ISTE mentor • Demonstrate competency in the NETS-A standards
