  2. How do I earn points for my team? • Teamwork! • Working independently • Class participation • Being ready to listen and learn • Not disturbing others • No pink slips • Shooting baskets!

  3. Team Reward • The team with the most points at the end of the time period (every four to six weeks) will be rewarded with a pizza lunch from the cafeteria! • Our first pizza lunch is on September 21

  4. Team Assignments Assistant Teacher Scorekeeper Captain Lieutenant Security Team player

  5. Captain • Leads the team *First in line • Picks who shoots *Additional requests from the teacher

  6. Lieutenant • Assists the Captain • 2nd in line • Leads the team if the Captain is absent • Passes out and collects papers • Makes sure names are on papers

  7. Security • Assists Captain and Lieutenant • Last in line/keeps everyone together • Helps and reminds teammates to follow rules • Makes sure tasks are complete

  8. Team Players • Will adhere to all classroom rules • Will cooperate with other teammates • Will help out other teammates in need • Will have a positive attitude toward other teammates

  9. Assistant Teacher • Helps the teacher • Passes out homework • Handles bathroom passes • Takes attendance to the office(sometimes) • Passes out class mail on Wednesdays • Monitors Pink Slips • Cannot play for either team but always goes to the pizza party

  10. Scorekeeper • Will accurately and honestly keep score for both teams • Stamps binder reminders (homework) and gives pink slips for missing homework • Cannot play for either team but always goes to the pizza party

  11. Elections • Team captains are elected by the class • Captains meet with the teacher to select assistant teacher, scorekeeper, and team members • No student may hold a position for two consecutive team rotations

  12. Individual Rewards • No pink slips during the week, you earn a golden ticket • 2 or less pink slips during a week , you earn an auction ticket *Earn five golden tickets and earn a principal’s signature • Name in Lunch box

  13. Class Rewards Save your auction tickets for our three classroom auctions !
