UNCLASSIFIED Developing Integrated Operations Joint Mission Essential Tasks (JTS Requirements Phase) United States Africa Command Mission Statement United States Africa Command, in concert with other U.S. Government agencies and international partners,conducts sustained security engagement through military‐to‐military programs, military‐sponsored activities, and other military operations as directed to promote a stable and secure African environment in support of U.S. foreign policy. • United States Africa Command Joint Mission Essential Task List • 5 of 11 Command JMETs & 19 of 60 Staff Supporting JMETs either specify or imply Integrated Operations activities. • Inter-Agency staff members involved in JMETL development process UNCLASSIFIED

UNCLASSIFIED Evaluating And Assessing Integrated Operations Training(JTS Assessments Phase) Training Assessments • JTSS & JIATS train and assist Inter-Agency and military staff, across all directorates, in JTIMS (TPO’s, TPA’s, ETA’s, & MTA’s) • Publish Observation Control Plan for exercise and training events • Enforce compliance with Observation Control Plan Operational Assessments • Annex R to the USAFRICOM Theater Campaign Plan • Operational assessment planners in Joint Planning Teams provide Operational Assessment Annexes for Plans and Orders • Integrated Operations assessments feed directly into DRRS UNCLASSIFIED
