  4. intro I have had the issue of finding parking when I get to campus, with this issue it causes me to have to drive around until I find parking and then I have to make the trek to class… My proposition to this issue which affects many students including myself is to build parking structures on campus, making parking more accessible.

  5. why do we need it*? • “Currently searching for a parking spot is almost as if you are searching for a needle in a hay stack, once you see someone about to back out, … (the) “race for the space” (begins, and) has the potential of causing accidents on campus, as students we need to decrease the amount of stresses on ourselves and this will help incredibly.” * Additional parking

  6. how will it* help? • Decrease the stress caused to students • Covered parking (not requiring cleanup during the winter months) • Larger parking permit sales (creating more space will allot for more cars to park, which would affect sales of permits) • Not having to worry about students using faculty parking * Additional Parking

  7. what we have now…

  8. what we could have…

  9. Having parking structures would increase the availability of parking spots, making the process from arriving on campus to arriving in class a shorter and a smoother process.

  10. I appreciate you taking the time to consider this change and strongly encourage you to put it into consideration. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
