ABOUT WHITE OAK: • White Oak Middle School is a comprehensive middle school that is dedicated to the development of life long learners. “Each student will be engaged in daily rigorous instruction where they will use critical thinking skills, relevant discourse, and creative approaches to problem solving.” • – WOMS 2012-2013 School Improvement Plan • White Oak MS Staff will: • plan motivating and engaging lessons including technology and real-life connections • implement structured collaborative tasks • provide students with strategies for problem-solving • incorporate differentiation to engage all learners
