  1. The new Jeep Gladiator makes its European debut at Camp Jeep. European customers have had the first opportunity to get up close to the new Jeep Gladiator at Camp Jeep 2019, the annual gathering of all Jeep owners and enthusiasts, and the most important event on the Jeep Owners Group (JOG) calendar, which takes place celebrated in San Martino di Castrozza, in the heart of the Dolomites region, from July 12 to 14. Produced in Toledo, Ohio, the new Jeep Gladiator is offered in three different trim levels: Sport, Overland, and Rubicon. It will reach dealerships in the Middle East in the first half of 2020 and in Europe at the end of next year. The new Jeep Gladiator features a robust and distinctive design that is instantly recognizable by traditional Jeep design details. The Jeep design team has kept the Wrangler's legendary seven-slot grille, but has widened the slots to bring in more air and help increase towing capacity. The arched top of the grille slopes gently to improve aerodynamics. The Gladiator Overland and Rubicon models feature Jeep Gladiator JT led headlights and fog lights that cast crisp white light, adding to the modern look of the Gladiator. At the rear, the traditional square taillights feature optional LED lighting and allow a wide tailgate opening for easy loading into the box. The tailgate is damped and capable of stopping in three positions, while cargo is easily secured with a power-locking tailgate. Smart functionality and versatility have come to the fore in designing the Gladiator's rugged case. Under-side panel lighting, an optional covered external power supply (230V), and rugged built-in fasteners offer durability and versatility. Gladiator Rubicon models are equipped with a protective cab and cargo bed footpegs. A four-bolt design at the top of the windshield frame allows the windshield to fold quickly and easily.A bar at the top connects the A-pillars and stays in place even when the windshield is folded. This allows the rear view mirror to remain in place as well when folding the windshield. The lightweight, high-strength aluminum doors feature Torx bit size indication directly on the hinge, eliminating doubts about which bit is needed to remove the doors. The tool kit with the Torx bits required to remove the doors and lower the windshield is provided as standard equipment. Gladiator Overland and Rubicon models share the optional three-piece hardtop available in body color for a unique and exceptional look, plus a three-piece black hardtop, available on Rubicon models, offering even more. options for outdoor adventures. The audio enhancement includes an optional subwoofer and a portable wireless speaker located behind the rear seat, allowing customers to take their music with them when they arrive at their destination, whether their journey ends on the beach or continues on extreme off-road routes. The new Jeep Gladiator range of engines offers the proven 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine (available only in markets outside of Europe, including the Middle East) and a new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine, which will be the only option for engine to be offered in Europe. FCA US's 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine develops 209 kW (285 hp) and 347 Nm of torque and comes with Engine Stop-Start (ESS) as standard equipment. It is designed to provide a wide range of torque with a focus on low-end torque, an essential feature required for extreme off-road driving. The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine will be available on all Gladiator models in Europe. This engine delivers approximately 191 kW (260 hp) and 600 Nm of torque, and is fitted with the Engine Stop-Start (ESS) device as standard. The EcoDiesel V-6 engine is designed and manufactured by FCA EMEA, and implements sophisticated turbocharger technology with a low-friction bearing designed for low-end and transient performance. The new Jeep Gladiator offers an eight-speed automatic transmission, which allows the vehicle to optimize engine performance when driving on roads or enjoying a smooth and efficient power supply at high speeds. Eight-speed automatic transmission is standard on all Jeep Gladiator models and on all engine options. Its traction On the Gladiator Rubicon, the Rock-Trac 4x4 drive system features strong third-generation Dana 44 front and rear axles with a 4: 1 "4LO" ratio.
