  2. When did it happen? • Do you know what happened in The California Gold Rush ? Well, it happened In 1848-1855 in the state of California.

  3. What Happened? • People argued over the land claims and some tried to cheat others by saying there was gold nuggets on their land.

  4. Why did it happen? • Because of the arguments there were no laws when the Gold Rush began. Then more people argued over their land.

  5. Who Was Involved • The people that were involved were John Sutter, John W Marshall, and Phillip Armour.

  6. Where Did It Happen? It happened in the yellow highlighted areas of California and in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
