  2. 2 Propositions • Evolution is not scientific. • It takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe in creation.

  3. What is Evolution? • Definitions: • Good is anything which helps the species survive. • Bad is anything which makes the species more likely to become extinct.

  4. What is Evolution? • Not all change is evolution: • It must be a genetic change passed from parent to child • It must make the species better able to survive • It must be an improvement in the DnA

  5. True Science says: • Endangered species list • Fossil record • 2nd law of thermo dynamics

  6. Processes of Evolution • Mutations: genetic changes • Natural selection: That which is best able to survive will. Are these really processes of evolution or are they processes of decay?

  7. Processes of Evolution • Mutations: Are genetic changes which can be bad, neutral or good but the bad mutations are much more likely to occur. Statistically the bad mutations will win in the long run. Therefore mutations are a process of decay.

  8. Processes of Evolution • Survival of the fittest: States the species which is best able to survive will. This process does not change species, it eliminates species. Therefore “Survival of the fittest” is a process of decay.

  9. The Bible says: • Rom 8:18-21 NIV “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope thatthe creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.”

  10. Conclusion • Evolutionist believe the world is getting better without scientific evidence • Science supports a decaying world. • Bible says the world is decaying • The world cannot be decaying and evolving so it takes more faith to believe the world is evolving.
