  1. Prepare Your Vehicle for Prolonged Storage You may be leaving town for a career or a long vacation. Maybe you are in the military and are stationed somewhere else. Long-term car storage of your vehicle can give you a sense of security. To see your possible explanation for being away from your vehicle, you will need to store it. You may revert to a dead battery or, worse still, a destroyed engine, ruined tyres, and a rat's nest under your hood if you simply leave your vehicle on the road or in a storage shed for a longer length of time. Before you store a vehicle, you should do a few things. They will prolong the engine's life and ensure that your car starts when you get back in it.

  2. Keep it hidden. • A garage is an excellent location for storing a vehicle. It will keep it safe from the elements and a generally constant temperature. However, consider storing your automobile in a public storage facility if you don't have a garage and can locate housing at a fair price. • It must Be cleaned • Remove any dirt, oil, or tar from the tyres and the undersides of the fenders. Then, put a coat of wax on the automobile for further protection.  • Replace the oil. • Whether you're merely keeping the automobile a week or three, skip this step.
