  9. So over to you……. Task: Design your own flash card or mind map – summarising the key points of how to revise

  10. Flash Card tips • Use colour • Use pictures to aid memory • Don’t cram too much onto one card • Write a question or questions on the back that you can use to test yourself once you have revised the content

  11. Key Question: What do you think of Nathan’s plan? Why? On your sheets write a description or draw a picture to show what your revision will look like, sounds like and feel like.

  12. Some further ideas……………….

  13. PAPER DOLL CHAIN Create your own paper doll chain. Fill each paper doll with information, symbols and images linked to a key individual you need to revise (i.e. Alexander Fleming, Louis Pasteur). You could write content on one side and questions on the other side? Hang your chain somewhere up high where you will read it and test yourself!

  14. Revision Chips

  15. SNAKES AND LADDERS Print out a board template (or create your own!) and add your own rules/questions. Rules could focus on a whole subject or topic? All you then need is dice and counters – best to play in a small group.

  16. P.E. revision examples… Make sure your questions get more challenging the higher up the board you go, consider the command words for your questions (i.e. name/list/identify is going to be an easier type of question to answer than an explain/evaluate).

  17. Post it Exit ticket - 3 Words • One thing you will take from todays session is…… • Your favourite method of revising is…….. • How are you feeling about your forth coming mock exams?
