  1. What will you learn from Mandala?

  2. Mandalas are a well-known type of art that are frequently connected to Buddhism. It is more approachable for young pupils who might find it challenging to practice other, more passive mindfulness practices since it is a sort of creative meditation.  They also provide a fantastic opportunity to introduce or review geometrical ideas like symmetry and patterns from a teaching perspective. This is the ideal method to mix the arts, math, and mental health, producing a fantastic output that kids would want to share with others and be proud of. These two principles are also often used in art.

  3. What do you need to prepare Mandala Artwork? • Choice of a calm musical background long enough to last through the activity. Alternatively, you can play mandala drawing videos in the background to inspire students.   • You will be needed:  • Paper or Mandala Template Activity Booklet and template reproducible  • Pencil  • Color pencils or markers  • Compass (optional, for older students)

  4. What will you do on Mandala? First with your mind :-  By first discussing the three key components with the class, teachers may then offer the exercise.  1: You should be made aware of the link between stress and poor mental and physical health. Active mindfulness exercises can reduce their anxiety and improve their ability to concentrate. This may be accomplished by having a brief talk about how stress manifests itself in students' life and how they manage it.  2: Describe the history and importance of mandalas in various cultures. Point out the usage of forms as you admire these various pieces of art. Aid yourself in identifying recurring patterns as vital components of art.   3: Finally, let yourself know that by including geometrical forms and repeating patterns, this project will also let them express their creativity in arithmetic. Teachers must teach the concepts of patterns and radial symmetry, both of which are covered in the slide set.

  5. Then with your hands :- • The steps below provide several distinct alternatives for various grade levels. In accordance with the learning objectives and capacities, you should choose and present them.  • 1: An Introduction to Color Meaning • Colors are frequently linked to ideas and feelings. There are several references on these associations, but since they may vary culturally, it is advisable to let pupils pick the ones they believe are suitable.  • 2: Drawing a Circle, second • Depending on the level of the learner and the targeted learning goals, this can be done in a variety of ways. Teachers can utilize the accompanying reproducible template and mandala template activity booklet to direct this project.  • You may use a template with a circle already drawn on it.  • Younger children might trace their own circle on cardboard using a pre-made form.  • "How do you believe you could draw your mandala," ask the person holding the geometry kit. Which instrument would you use?  • You may ask older children to design a circle with a certain area, circumference, or diameter (E.g., A circle with a surface area of 314 cm2 or a circumference of 62 cm can be given if using common letter-sized sheets of paper).  • Older children might be invited to make their mandala using a computer tool.  • 3: Making Radial Symmetry Lines • Depending on the level of the students and the emphasis on the intended learning objectives, this can be done in a variety of ways.  • You can use a template with a circle that is already split.  • To form the divisions, younger individuals can be instructed to fold their circle in two (for four parts; suggested for kindergarten) or three (for eight sections; recommended for older children). If not cut, this will include printing or drawing a circle in the center of the page.  • Teachers can assist students in creating concentric circles and diameter lines (E.g., identify the center of their circle, then measure the same distance from the center on each diameter line to guide where the circle will be).  • Just cut the circle into 45-degree halves.  • About the Blogger • Hello, viewers! I'm Murtaza Hashwani, and the only goal of my blog post on my personal experience with Mandalas is to relieve some of your stress. In my perspective, being present and flowing may absolutely be advantageous. All opposition sort of fades away. I suggest giving it a try to see how you react.
